Portland Dog Bowl

In collaboration with the Pearl Arts Foundation and artist, William Wegman, Lango Hansen provided construction documentation services for a permanent sculpture in Portland’s North Park Blocks.

Using humor and poignant commentary, the artist created a dog dish drinking fountain in the spirit of the historic Benson Bubbler drinking fountains found throughout downtown Portland. Lango Hansen worked closely with Portland Parks & Recreation and the Regional Arts and Culture Council to site the piece, acquire permits and resolve maintenance and public safety issues.
