Renaissance Waterfront Landing

The primary goal of the Renaissance Waterfront Landing Master Plan was to reconnect downtown Vancouver to the Columbia River while creating a vibrant public space for the city and the region. The Landing is particularly significant as the first-visible piece of land when driving into Washington State across the planned new Columbian River Crossing.

The Landing’s design elements include a floating esplanade, riparian habitat, gardens and stormwater treatment. The development of the plan evolved through a number of public meetings, working with a technical committee and park staff.
