Jon Storm Park
Jon Storm Park sits perched above the Willamette River near a bend in the river that is historically significant to the establishment of Oregon City. The rich cultural and natural history of the site is reflected in a design composed of simple materials: stone, steel and native plantings.
A large promontory hangs over the old log-boom sheet pile wall and provides panoramic views of Willamette Falls in the distance. In addition to the park, Lango Hansen designed a three-mile trail along the riverbank creating pedestrian and bicycle connections to the City’s other waterfront parks.
