UO Music School

Lango Hansen worked closely with the building architects in significantly upgrading the School of Music and Dance facilities at the University of Oregon. Landscape improvements include a new central courtyard, bicycle parking, ADA accessible entrances, planting areas and a highly visible ecoroof.

The central courtyard is an open and flexible space that welcomes daily use by students, and also accommodates outdoor ceremonies and performances. The space has been designed to warm with the sun in the fall and spring, while carefully-placed trees provide shade during the hot summer months.
